Cape

The 5-pointed-star shaped Castle of Good Hope in Cape Town, with Table Mountain as a backdrop, was built between 1666-1679 by the Dutch East India Company to protect the Settlement. It has been the seat of the Governor, a military headquarters and is also a museum.
